Meet the Artisans

It's one of the reasons we do what we do.  We love to support the makers, the creators, the do-it-yourselfers. When this collides with fashion, beautiful things happen.  

Joy Vierra is one of the most beautiful people you will ever meet.  Her hands have been creating quilts in California for longer than we can remember.  Her quilts have something special that's woven through the fibers.  It's almost magical.  Maybe it's the heart and soul that goes into each one or the prayers prayed as the pieces form together into a masterpiece.

I recently met Joy for the first time and I can honestly say the joy on her face can light up a room.  She taught my 6-year old the classic "I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart."  For days my daughter was singing that song and it just warmed my heart and made me think of our time with this special lady.  Joy had left her mark.  I have a feeling she does that often...
